Day 6 at Sea

09 August 2011 | Pacific Ocean
Sean
Really rough! Big seas and a lot of wind. Using staysail a lot. Alternator belt snapped this morning. Got nailed by some good squalls this morning. Dingy got cockeyed. Fixed dinghy. Too rough to fix alternator belt. Just hanging on for now. Boat is handling well. Charging batteries with generator right now. Looks as if it should ease late tonight.
