Balandra

27 July 2007
Sean
We left Juancalito today and headed to Balandra. We're buddy boating with Pythagoras and they have little time left. We're also in a bit of a hurry as we're supposed to be in Santa Rosealia August 1st.

The trip was uneventful except that the alternator went south. I was very proud of myself for having a spare and quickly installed it when we got to Balandra. It appears that my rebuilt alternator doesn't work though. I did some checks using Nigel Cadwel's Mechanic's and Electrical manual and I'm pretty sure that the replacement alternator is not working. We'll try and get them fixed in Santa Rosealia, or when we get to San Carlos. There's only one problem: we can't make water. It'll be okay though - I'm hiding some for me.

We're having a good time hanging out with Pythagoras. Both sets of girls made us dinner last night. We had fettuccine Alfredo and desert. They also cleaned the dishes for us.
