Timing is everything

It has been cold since we got back to our boat from our trip to the US. It has dropped like ten degrees. It's not nearly as humid as it was (it's only 73 percent humidity now!). Tara and I have been going to the beach a lot and the water feels like it's 70 degrees. Well if you don't know, just before our trip to the states, we threw away our comforters. I've been snuggling up to my paper thin sheet, a millimeter thick quilt and my down feather penguin throw.

At the beginning of our trip my dad gave away our heater to some Mexican guys that were so excited to have it, that it should have been an indication to him that it gets really cold here. But that didn't really occur to him because it was a hundred degrees out at the time, which should have been another indication that it was time to get an air conditioner -- but instead my parents got an air conditioner when we left our boat two months ago to go back to the states.

It seems that we do everything at the wrong time. Now we have no heater, no comforters, it gets to about the high sixties at night, and we have an air conditioner. Wow, if that's not child abuse; I don't know what is.
