This poem was written by Tara as a Christmas gift to her parent this year:
A boat from a fish's perspective
Once a small fish couldn't understand
why such a large creature wasn't on land.
How could it move with just one large fin?
Such a huge animal must be hunted by men.
It would take away hunger and the humans would feast,
thought the fish as he touched the cold metal beast.
It could easily eat a hundred fish like him.
But it was tied down with chains so it couldn't swim.
Besides the creature's mouth was not to be found.
The fish made sure and swam all the way around.
What shall I call this thing that does float?
"I know!" He said "I'll call it a boat!"
