To El Salvador and Beyond!

22 January 2008 | Huatulco, Mexico
Sean
Today, I talked to the legend: Don Anderson! I tried to listen to him on Amgio net but it always sounded something like this.

...Hel-...Bod... ...Sea-...Cor-... Fine...Tehuantep-... ....Woo-hoo!...

Hopefully, you can see my confusion. It was the ´Woo-Hoo!´ that scared me the most. I garnered some courage and called Summer Passage on 12C at 10:30 yesterday. Don gave me some weather for the Tehuantepec and told me that buoyweather.com was pretty much correct.

It was comforting to get another data-point and I really appreciate Don´s willingness to help us weather-retarded cruisers.

We leave Hautulco at 6 pm tonight per our harbor master's, Enrique, instruction. We´ll miss the people at the dock in Hautulco. It was one of the nicest places we stayed in all of Mexico.

Stayed Tuned... This is going to be a windy and wild trip!
