To El Salvador and Beyond!

22 January 2008 | Huatulco, Mexico
Sean
Today, I talked to the legend: Don Anderson! I tried to listen to him on Amgio net but it always sounded something like this.

...Hel-...Bod... ...Sea-...Cor-... Fine...Tehuantep-... ....Woo-hoo!...

Hopefully, you can see my confusion. It was the Woo-Hoo! that scared me the most. I garnered some courage and called Summer Passage on 12C at 10:30 yesterday. Don gave me some weather for the Tehuantepec and told me that buoyweather.com was pretty much correct.

It was comforting to get another data-point and I really appreciate Dons willingness to help us weather-retarded cruisers.

We leave Hautulco at 6 pm tonight per our harbor master's, Enrique, instruction. Well miss the people at the dock in Hautulco. It was one of the nicest places we stayed in all of Mexico.

Stayed Tuned... This is going to be a windy and wild trip!
