Difran 2 Baltic Cruise 2014

A wet windy day, the first we have had since the very wer run through the Kiel kanal. Now in Svenborg we were looking forward to and guess what it was like a Sunday in england in the 1950's all closed. But fish and chips on the dock side was an interesting difference.
From our first stop in theBritish Kiel Yacht club, to Sonderborg which was absolutely glorious my crew were prepared to desert ship, up through Als Sund to a stop in Dyvig, and what an absolutely wonderful enclosed bay for an anchorage, the only sound was the birds. None of man's infernal racket.
We just dived of the bowsprit put there for the purpose, swam around had a rest and went again, very narrow and shallow entrance kept the crew and skipper on tender hooks.
Next day rounded Als to anchor in Lyo another very nice bay, more swimming. The following morning the weather was on the move, I woke at 04.00 dosed then listened to the wind rise a quick look out and what a good job Boudica was drifting slowly towards us Anchor draging. Josh lept into the dinghy a Radio call unanswered but the mobil phone which I hate saved the day. Alan and crew lept to action stations to bring Boudica back to Anchor. One might say highlight of the day. But it Could have been more serious.
On to Svenborg with some difficult pilotage through narrow channels but arrived Safe in the town quay rafting three boats abrest. Boudiac's crew joined the outside German Boat to watch football Final and we woke this morning to a wet miserable day so off to the museums, and see what tomorrow brings.
