2016 Cruise round UK
So here we are May 14th all is nearly ready Mars joins me to shift Difran 2 onto the pontoon at Bucklers, Paul joins on Monday and we are off Tuesday 17th May, Brighton, Dover, Chatham, Shotley, Lowestoft.

New Year
As I get older the winters seem of late to be cold wet and very windy. Forming a convoy
n a convoy 10/15 boats to get through all the bridges in one go. Departed 13.00 motored throgh the lot distance covered 3 miles in over an Hour, I could walk quicker.
But it's fun some pushy German types, but in the main all very friendly.
Following our grounding we cursed the charts Riddle of the Sands complained but was advised these are German/Dutch waters???
As it stands we have now Sailed, some motor sailed, across the whole of Holland.
Towns of interest were many we only passed through because of time for the project, it is very pretty obviously, considerable wealth along the kanal side, in the housing and dock side boats, we have over the last two day sailed across the Ijseelmeer and Markermeer Care in Navigation is required and the worry of running aground in an ocean going designed Yacht is ever present.
We were also pleasantly immpressed with the profusion of garden flowers and the way the house and gardens are maintained the dutch are out to impress.
Tonight we are moored in Amsterdam with a hugh very expensive motor yachts along side we are Talking Millions Plus, The skipper asked if we could shift to let him in, no problem No Harbour Master they all seem to close for lunch,, close for tea, and go home early it is a bit like england of the 1950's closed on Sunday..

2015 we have now completed the european Coast from Cuxhaven to Tregieur. we head west next. We have visited the South Coast UK to Falmouth But I fancy Round the UK...
