Never forget Mother Nature! On a beautiful afternoon when we started to think about arriving and what a cold beer tastes like “on draught” we were reminded we are still in the Atlantic when the block holding up our spinnaker broke and we sailed over the kite as it hit the water at 8.5kts. It took several hours to get back on board in a 2.5m swell. All celebrated and proceeded for a quiet night under genoa and mizen only.
