13 TO GO, UNLUCKY FOR SOME!
Another day of hurry and wait. It's all about making stuff - making coffee, making food, making water, making electricity, making the bed, making up jobs to do, and keeping stuff running like the fridge and freezer, the engine, the water maker, the pumps for the shower and toilet! We had showers whether we needed them or not, just in case any unexpected visitors pop in. Had our freshly baked croissants and coffee in the cockpit then got hailed by Passage, they had decided that today was their day to leave and head towards West Caicos. The wind is still out of the East and they will be bashing into it for part of the trip but we hope it turns slightly for them to give them an easier run. We could see them as they headed out of the anchorage and watched as they put up their main and jib, we aren't sure that they will be able to fly it for long but who knows!
Its another day of naval gazing and working on our suntans or maybe that should be windburn!
Another episode or two of Dark Matter is on the cards along with some cooking preparation of meals for when we are once more underway. It looks like Saturday will be our push off day but it will all depend on the weather at the time.
Priss has been out of her hidey hole long enough to have some food and water but is currently curled up asleep once more on the quarter berth bunk.
Our Aero garden hasn't sprouted overnight, watch this space!
