What a day

Wx nice & john on keyboard
One hell of a day. So yesterday we discover the leak in the genset exhaust. It turns out that when the hose was removed from the thru hull it was cut and when I reinstalled the hose the tail piece was still inside so the hose naturally would not tighten down and on top of that the new hose coupler is too small. Shit happens. Used some superman tape until we get to Auckland.
Not done with genset....... For some unknown reason it just decides to shut down. Put a meter on the safety shutdown circuit and determined it to not be that so it has to be a fuel issue.. An Auckland project.
Next came the leak from the outside sink and icemaker. Lisa discovered the line of water drissling down into the bilge. I went directly to the leak in the cold waster line tee to the icemaker. Someone!, me, forgot to tighten a hose clamp.... Easy fix.
Lisa spent most all day going through all the settes, pulling, inventoring, cataloging and replacing everything in them. All inbetween me asking her to get me parts.
So tomorrow brings another day.
Se ya
