Its been a fun week so far. We miss you all so much but aren't quite ready to leave yet! A few days back we met a boy in a village named Phillip. He gave us a tour of the village and showed us how he and all the Fijians live. We got to witness how amazed all of the kids were to see new technology. A man from Australia brought a boat on wheels onto the island and drove the chief and all thirty or so children on rides all around the village. The next morning we made our way back over on the dingy to join them at their 10:00 church service. I was amazed by the Fijians singing, especially the children. They are taught at a very young age to project all they can and not be afraid to be heard. The service was amazing. After church, Phillip invited us to visit his school the next morning. We got back to the boat and set off on the dingy to a snorkeling spot called the cabbage patch and it was truly amazing. This morning we went to find Phillip at his school. In both the classrooms we ended up in, the kids sang and danced with us and we all had the best time. That was by far my favorite experience. Now we're anchored near a new island where we can snorkel right off the back of the boat. Caitlin, Hanna, and I all took the dinghy to several different islands to look for shells and explore the different spots. Tomorrow we will swim and snorkel in a cave, and then we'll sail to see the manta rays. More to come - Abby
