Manta Ray Snorkel - Bust

10 October 2014 | Vaga Bay
John
Well we popped down to this little bay just North of the pass where the manta rays were found when we were here back in June. We pulled into this little bay for the night and to hopefully move down by the pass for a short anchor stay while chasing the illusive mantas. After Charisma was anchored Buena Vista finally made it in and once they had their anchor down they all jumped aboard Orcinius for the trip to the pass. Half hour later we are there and after taking some time to get our anchor set we all jumped into the dinghy and headed for the pass. We searched and searched. Nothing. It was a bust. Back to Orcinius and back to the bay where the other two boats were anchored.

Plans for dinner. Each boat had a task and we all met over on Orcinius for a wonderful dinner, wine, home brew and a lot of chatting. Tomorrow is another day and we all decided to head a little further south to Waya and beyond.

All for now.
