We left Savusavu today at 1130L. The beer wasn't bottled yet so on our way out to the fishing hole that is just that a hole, i.e. no fish, Malo and I started washing the bottles. By the time we got to the end of the reef it was time to bottle the fresh batch of beer. Trouble was a brewing as they say. Seas were a bit lumpy as we turned the corner so we had to slow down so we could fill the bottles. Half hour later the chore was done and the RPM increased. AS typical the wind was on the nose.

It is now just past 3 am and I came on watch. Still a bit bouncy but we will be able to make Western Samoa by Friday unless something unexpected comes up. If the GRIBs are correct we should pick up some Southerly winds and then we will be truly motor sailing. Since we left we have ticked off just under 100 miles so we are down to 450 to get to Western Samoa.

All for now. Just wanted to post an update and keep our promise of he daily blog.
