Although this is a bit late, today was quite productive. I made two loaves of bread and four balls of pizza dough. All while supervising Malo and Mosese in finding the problem with the port engine and then fixing half of it. So the reason it is late is because I was exhausted after dinner and burried my head and body in a bed.

After making the pizza dough, Malo and Mosese helped me make a couple of pizzas. One was a traditional Hawaiian and the other a meat lover's. Both turned out real nice and we ate all but 4 pieces.

To make the bread and pizza dough we had to break open a new 10Kg bag of flour. Along with flour in these parts you also get the little critters that like flour so part of the process is to sift it all through a fine screen mesh before using or putting into packages that are small enough to store and use over time. Lisa jumped in and sifted the 10Kg and vacuum packed the flour into the smaller 6 cup packages. Most bread recipes call for 6 1/2 cups of flour so 6 is the size and the extra comes from the daily container.

Malo and Mosese spent the day chasing down the problem with the port engine. After bleeding and trying it several times Mosese was finally bleeding it one more time when he discovered a spot in the return tubing between the injectors (one contiguous piece with fitting for each injector) had broken. They removed the piece which I originally thought to be aluminum but turned out to be steel and I devised a way to solder it back together. They re-installed it and then it took the time (forever) to blead the system. After several bleeding attempts she finally started but ended up with the same problem, taking in air. After a bit more checking and then discovering a second problem, the bleed bolt had actually stripped the threads inside of the filter housing it became a lost cause for the day. I think we created the second problem trying to bleed the system so many times so we called it a day and will work a solution tomorrow.

We have a way to bleed the system past the fuel filter so may plug the hole with some epoxy on the housing and get a new one in Hawaii.

All for now.
