90 Nautical Miles
20 June 2008 | Port McNeill
We were very happy and impressed with our propeller, because it was the key to the amount of miles were were able to travel. We had our longest day ever this trip and made it from Campbell River to Port McNeill in the same day! It was a long day mind you, but we did it!
We were also welcomed back home by six porpoises playing on our bow waves just out of Alert Bay! I was squealing like a little girl on the bow of the boat gleefully watching them jockey for position to surf our bow waves! It is so wonderful to be back home again!...................KEWL!
With a quick visit with friends and our last provisioning before heading north, weather permitting we will be leaving Saturday a.m. Our future posts may be few and far between, but we will update the blog whenever we possibly can. We are going to try and access the internet via our satellite phone along the way, but it will be difficult as it is a very SLOW server. We'll just have to see!
We miss you and hope everyone is doing well. Til next time take good care and know you are in our thoughts and along with us on this awesome adventure!
xoxo
