How much beer.....?

19 February 2010
Part of our preparations for leaving Marathon is to pack away our folding bikes. To do this we emptied out our quarter berth (AKA "the garage") which is where we store the bikes. I was amazed as we emptied out the contents of the garage to see carton after carton of beer emerging. Even Tom was a little taken aback to see the pile after it was all removed. Over the past 2 months, we have been buying 12 packs of beer whenever we had room in our bicycle baskets. Obviously, over time this has added up. I don't think there is much danger of running out in the Bahamas this time. Beer is so expensive over there we really do not want ot run out. We counted up that we have almost 280 cans of beer of various types. Tom is a happy boy. Now we just need to get out to the warm, blue waters to enjoy it!
