Great Day in Key West

03 March 2010
Monday we caught the bus down to Key West and had a fun day there. We took our fantastic folding bikes and had a happy day cycling around the interesting town of Key West. It was a lovely sunny day, not ever so warm but nice nonetheless. We met up with Jarrod from Norton's in Rhode Island. Unfortunately he was working and couldn't swap his shift so after having coffee with him at his local hangout he had to go. We toured around town a bit and then went to the Rum Barrel, where Jarrod is working, met Sy (another Norton's regular) and had a good, boozy, lunch. After a bit more touring we caught the bus back to Marathon and arrived well after dark.

We are now looking forward to the "Gospel Explosion" this weekend. It sounds good. We are also keeping a close eye on the weather - there may finally be a break in this ridiculous weather we have been having. We may even get to leave this Harbor at last!
