Well, Blue Hill Harbor definitely wins the prize for the noisiest Loon! That bird was wailing as the sun set and then again as the sun rose this morning. It is such an eerie call it makes the hairs on your neck prickle. Other than the Loon calls it was a quiet and tranquil night and we both slept like rocks. Up this morning to another stellar day - so lucky! As forecast, the wind was blowing from the North to give us a good sail back down Blue Hill Bay. And so we left the harbor on the falling tide which gave us a great boost as we gently sailed down wind to the bottom of the bay. After a bit of discussion we hung a starboard turn and poked up Eggemoggin Reach. We initially tried to go to Center Harbor but found it very small and congested and the one Yacht Club Guest Mooring already occupied. So we ducked back to Wooden Boat School, tied up to one of their moorings and immediately went ashore for our daily run. Another wonderful sunny day and a cooling breeze as the sunsets. What more can we ask?
