Ahh....it's good to be home!

We have had another busy weekend and I am very happy to report that we have now moved back aboard Osprey. It is so lovely to be back aboard and have all our stuff in it's proper place - it truly has felt like coming home. All the familiar smells, sounds and motions bring back tons of happy memories. Thankfully we had a dry weekend - which was lucky as we have had a very rainy start to the summer.

The next big project will be getting the engine installed - we have tentatively made plans with Scott to start on Wednesday - but it will depend to some extent on the weather. It will be a big relief to get that done. Of course we also have a million other things to do and I am horrified to realise that I will be going back to work in Maine in just three weeks.

I was checking back on the blog today and see that this time two years ago we were slaving away on the wiring project - Wow! that seems a long time ago and I'm glad we don't have to go through all that again. One year ago we were stuck in Fort Pierce, Florida, having just crossed back from the Bahamas and had the engine die on us - hopefully that won't be happening again any time soon. That is the great thing about keeping a blog - it is great fun to look back and read about our adventures. Those followers familiar with this blog will notice that after two years I have finally figured out how to post more than one photo with each blog post - I'm not sure what took me so long? Any way, I seem to have it figured out now so enjoy!

So the second picture today shows Tom happy in his work as a launch driver. Here he is leaving the dock to pick up some folks from their boat out in the mooring field. Now we have moved back aboard he has a very short commute to and from work and I can take his supper up to him when it is dinner time. Life is good at Norton's Marina!
