1.
How to Write About Your Boating Adventures. Monday 3:15 North Hall Stage 3.
Are you writing a boating story and wondering how to get published? Writers Wendy Hinman and Christine Smith and I will join Northwest Yachting editor Norris Comer and Fine Edge publisher Mark Bunzel in a panel discussion on how to write about your boating adventures.
2.
Cruising the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Friday February 1. 2:00 North Hall Stage 2. Don't let fear of fog, wind and rocks keep you from cruising the west coast of Vancouver Island. This seminar takes you on a virtual cruise to show you how to meet these west coast challenges. Are all west coast gale warnings equal? Can you plan a trip to avoid the strongest winds? Where is the thickest fog? You might be surprised at some of the answers.
3.
Adventure Cruising in SE Alaska. Saturday February 2. 2:00 Club Level Stage 4 This seminar takes you off the beaten path to some of my favorite SE Alaska destinations. I'll guide you through ocean swells and a rock-strewn channel to a stunning anchorage, show you where to find a rarely visited totem park hidden in the forest, take you to an island with limestone arches big enough to drive a truck through and lead you through moss-covered marble slabs that will make you feel like Indiana Jones.
