Vancouver to Secret Cove

We weighed anchor early morning while I simultaneously lost my prescription sunglasses overboard. Our first mission was to refill our water tank. Rhonda expertly negotiated the water-taxi traffic, geese, and kayaks to get us docked for water. We learned that the fuel service had closed, so decided to take on fuel after we get to Pender Harbour.
The trip to Secret cove was about 7 hours, with approximately 15 knots of wind on the nose. So no sailing. The motor is behaving well, and the new starter is working perfectly! Also, the battery that Frank and I installed has made a significant difference to the generator. It now starts first time every time, with only 10 to 15 seconds of diesel pre-heat!
We anchored in Secret Cove in time to have a hot shower aboard and share a satisfying home-cooked dinner.
