Hi everyone! We are currently in the Maldives, after a 6 day sail to get here. We caught some mackerel as we went down the Sri Lankan coast, which were delicious. We also did some trades with the fishermen, in which we used a net to pass them some drinks and biscuits, and they passed us two yellow-fin tuna. A very good deal!

We had very little wind, so were motoring the whole way. About halfway through the trip Totem and us passed between two waterspouts, where we had to drive as fast as the motor would allow us to get out of there. We also caught a mahi mahi on the second last day, which was a very messy ordeal, but well worth it! The next day we arrived in the tropical islands of the Maldives, with very friendly customs people bearing chocolate gifts for the kids. The reef and beach here is beautiful, just like paradise.
