The likely lads, Dave, Bob and Stace*, (*who'll be getting off in Sydney and where Steve will be taking his place with the crew) have arrived in Brisbane and are now excitedly and anxiously getting ready for their Boy's Own Adventure as they prepare to bring the boat back to Adelaide tomorrow morning.

Venture weathered the storms surges and tornadoes beautifully, with not a sign of damp inside at all, so at least I won't be eeeeeeewing at the penicillin smudges and slimy foot-wells when she pulls into Garden Island. Mind you, 3 large guys on a boat, tiny teensy shower (unless they use the one in the cockpit) and no real need for deodorant for up to a month .... uh... yeah... nuff said.

The only one amongst them who has had any real blue water sailing experience is Bob, so at least I have someone to truly blame if they run into an island or a giant squid or big gigantic boat that can be seen from space and dent the boat.

I'm also hoping that at least one of them knows how to cook properly (Dave doesn't but he wields a mean can opener) otherwise it may arrive with a literal skeleton crew. I did put lots of baked beans on the shopping list and cup-a-soup may be good too I guess. I believe they have at least they stocked up on whiskey. :)
