sorry to break your stuff and run but...
31 December 2013 | Wallaroo to Cap Elizabeth and then to Corny point.
FRIDAY 13th. Wallaroo to Cape Elizabeth
The following morning we relayed the tale of the great mozzie hunt that had been happening in the wee small hours and the circumstances that led to the shattering of furniture and subsequent self-reproach, then muffled giggles. Jeff and Carol were very understanding (thank goodness).
We said our goodbyes and bid farewell to Wallaroo. By 8am we were on the ocean again and heading on a short trip to Cape Elizabeth where we were going to anchor in for the night. Before we'd even been gone from Wallaroo for an hour, Jeff messaged to say that he had managed to fix the flat packed blanket box (huzzah!) and that they had caught 5 good sized crabs (damn you Gwatkings!! :P )
There isn't much else to say about this particular day. The weather was nice, the seas were fairly smooth-ish and after we'd anchored in the cape. Luckily there wasn't a southerly breeze otherwise it might have been a really rough night.
SATURDAY 14th - Cape Elizabeth to Corny Point
Up at 5.30, off at 6am The trip was really rough, rolling and awful. It was as boring as a very boring thing. 12 hours, all on the motor. Yuck!! Anchored at Corny point. End of story!
