Too much to list...
30 March 2009
So much has happened since my last post, and I will go back and fill in. I never was big on journaling, but I know that being a sailor it's a habit that I need to into.
As to what we are doing, we are very close to finishing the epic refrigeration project which you can see pictures of in the photo gallery. We should have new counters sometime next week. After that, we are off on a much needed vacation to the BVI.
Refer Rebuild
01 September 2008
I started rebuilding the refrigeration system over Labor Day weekend. I never want to have to do this job again! Check out the rest of the pictures in the gallery
Grandpa comes to visit
26 July 2008
Grandpa got here the day before my parents left. We took him sailing up to the main bay too. We had some engine problems on the way up and ended up staying at Emery Cove longer than expected. We were right next to BellaVia, so it wasn't really such a bad thing.
Dog days of summer...sailing
07 July 2008 | Treasure Island, CA
We took Mom and Dad for a sail up to the main bay. We stayed at Treasure Island the first night and docked opposite BellaVia in Emery Cove the next night. After a very rough run up to the main bay, Grace has had enough.
Mom and Dad come to visit
01 July 2008
Mom and Dad left Texas a few weeks ago to come out here via Colorado, Utah, Washington and Vancouver. I was getting updates along the way because Dad got a new iPhone
Repaint Aft Head
28 March 2008
Outbound's aft head was in need of some serious work when I got the boat. I replaced the toilet and some thru -hulls when I had the boat in the yard, but it still looked like hell. So, a few weeks ago I decided to try giving it a fresh paint job. The results was much better than I expected, it's like having a brand new head. I can't wait to do the forward one now.
