Brookes Point
So now we have left Rio Tuba and had a nice motor all the way to Brookes Point about 30 mile north, and we are anchored up where we were last year, but this time, with easterly winds and have the stern anchor out again which is working a treat, no rock & roll. We have a great view and smell of the copra ships that get loaded here 24/7. Have been to town and reloaded our smart Buddy sim, had lovely Facetime with Jamie’s dad and son Brad in Tully, then caught up with Jason, Sarah and Jasper a little later on. It’s so lovely being able to stay tuned with their lives. Such as our little Jasper who is nearly 6 months old, zooming around in his little car (walker) and the great news of our other two big boys and their achievements with their latest BMX racing where they both excelled and Luke qualifying to ride at the world championships in Auckland, NZ in August.
The Pressure cooker is on with the corn silverside cooking away for dinner along with the spuds etc. It is now 5 o’clock (somewhere) and are now getting ready for a sun downer and a bottle of red Horse Beer. Cheers for now!!
