Leaving Puerto Princesa

Dawn
We had a really nice stay in PP. Left Puerto Princesa @ 1pm after trying to find hanging space for our wet laundry as it is overcast with light rain. Quite swellie coming out of the entrance with up to 12 knots of wind from SSE. Main up with heady early. It is now 12 midnight, light winds 7 knots from the SE. Maintaining 4.6 knots and expected eta to be around 08.30 (if we maintain current speed @ 1500 rpms.) Nav lights not working and have mobile ones operating until we can climb mast and spray terminals. Radar also has a sticky sensor in dome and also needs a spray...lack of use.
Some lightening in the distance to the east and the sea has a very slight swell. It is a full moon and is still managing to shine through the cloud. The motor is purring away and the autopilot (Elle) is doing a great job...thanks Elle.
Rest of the trip was quite, Dawn went off watch at 0350 had a red foot Boobi join us for a ride until daybreak. Flat calm all night, backup lights worked treat, thanks Dawnie for picking these up whilst back in Oz. On our way to Tubbataha reef....there we come. 2IC notes..... It is now 2am, the captain is sleeping soundly, except for the odd snore, just had a pod of dolphin beside the boat and still have 27nm to go with an average speed of 4.80knots The tide has just turned...on the make and this was not a big outgoing tide although the next high is very big. From .40 to 1.64 of a meter @ around 9am.
Today is our wedding anniversary, number 39. Made 200 litres of water before arrival, so full water tanks now
Contacted rangers via VHF to confirm which mooring we would have, chose Amos Rock area in the channel south of the ranger station. Picked up the mooring no problem, crystal clear water, high tide on arrival. Mooring in 10 meters and in good condition. So far all is great, no rock & roll, light wind from the north so hope it stays like this.
