Fifteen years ago the crew of sv Follow You won top honors at the Baja Haha Cruisers Costume Party at West Marine in San Diego with our spot on Gilligan's Island costumes.

This year, four of that crew consisting of Corey and Bernice Wurzner, Rina, myself, plus Shaun Wurzner and Michelle Beck won our division with our "Boomer Barbies, Skipper, two kens and just Allan". While we won our division we lost to the cutest 4 year old boy in a very realistic fire fighters get-up who won the kids division and the entire contest.

The boat's ready, the fuel, water tanks and fridge/freezers are all full, and we're installing jacklines and our downwind sail for tomorrow's departure. Winds are expected to be light for the next 3 days, so it might end up being a motor-fest, but we're often surprised by higher winds offshore, where we are headed.
