Sailing the South Pacific

Let's Go Sailing!

After two years of coastal sailing in Mexico, we felt the need to adventure further out there. At our ages, there may not be that many ocean crossing opportunities left, so we decided to go for it and cross the Pacific to our favorite cruising grounds... the South Pacific. We last crossed the South Pacific in 2009 so it's been a long time coming. Much has changed, but we are looking forward to visiting some new destinations and enjoying many islands that we visited previously. We will be joined by friends and family along the way and look forward to our final destination in New Zealand where daughter Alyssa, Eric, and grandson Bjorn live.

We depart on or about March 21st, my 65th birthday, with friends Corey Wurzner and Nic Molinelli aboard as crew. We will blog along the way, as long as starlink allows us to.
