Anything else to do?

David
Well, the good sailing left us at midnight and we have had to motor since. This is as calm as we have had it this whole trip. Kerry and I have been reading during our watches and Dave has gone through a whole season of Battlestar Galactica (the new version, it came with the boat). I'm reading a book called "The Shadow of the Wind" and can barely set it down. I think sister Susie left it here - thanks.

It was a super productive day for working on the boat. We removed everything from the two front holds, washed them down with bleach water, dried everything, and re-organized them. They are perfect. We also rearranged the engine compartments, washed the decks, cleaned the main cabin, cleaned the snorkel gear, and lots more. Actually, I'm going to struggle to find much more to do after today. I understand Kerry's sisters and friends are following this blog so I have to ask - has he always been like this? I can't sit down without him saying "Anything else to do?" - boom - off we go on another project.

There don't seem to be any fish in this section of the ocean. We've been trying with no success. Dave is having tuna withdrawals. I sure could go for a batch of his fish and chips. Not much else is going on.

Kerry would like to send out a hello to all his family and friends.

Sailing Route

Aldarion was the Heir to the King of NĂºmenor. He was a great captain and adventurer, to the dismay of his father, who wished his son to spend his youth on the island he would one day rule. Aldarion, though, felt the call of the sea, and he built himself a vast ship, larger than any that had been seen at that time. He called it PALARRAN, an Elvish name meaning 'Far-Wanderer', and in it he journeyed the Great Sea to Middle-Earth. JRR Tolkien, The Silmarillion
