Kerry and David
Hello everyone, it's me the greenhorn, Kerry. The boys said I needed to earn my stripes before I posted the blog for the Palarran. Well, it's 980 nautical miles from San Miguel to Gilbraltar and we've just pulled into port safely. We were all up early today to experience going through the straights; Africa on our starboard side and Spain on the port . We were blessed with favorable weather, making the trip in five and one half days. It was a remarkable experience and I for one was thankful that it was uneventful, especially after the beating these guys went through in getting to the Azores. Skinny Dave and David know a lot about sailing and I am trying to learn as I go. They've been patient and it has worked well thus far. We are going to enjoy a few days exploring the south of Spain before we put out again and head to the Balearic Islands. Thanks to all of you for following along on the blog, I want to give all my friends and family my best.

After 28 days our Atlantic crossing over. We are tied up at a pier in Gibraltar and trying to get our land legs back. I'll have to work on a more detailed post later today. Thanks to all of you who sent your love and support to us on the passage. Take care.
