meet the crew

Meet the crew.
Our crew consists of Glen and Liz. A nephew and his wife also from Queensland. It was in fact Glen who started the ball rolling again to do this trip. He had regretted not joining us on the last journey and at Christmas 2012 he sowed the seed by suggesting we go partners in a boat. Of course Gary had had his eye surgery and had plenty of time to get used to the idea of doing it all again. We chose to buy the yacht ourselves and invite them on as crew.
So from the onset they have been in the loop during the choosing of a yacht and the research and procurement of possible bits and pieces needed along the way.
Glen and Liz are caravaners so they know the drill about the conservation of water and power, so there should be no breaking them in so to speak. Marine toilets now that’s another thing. The old “you block it and you unblock it” quote was all that was needed to get the message across. Both have been sailing with us previously so just a reminder was all that was needed.
From here we hope they enjoy the experience
