Christmas and New Year

02 January 2015 | Australia
By now you will all be aware that we have flown home for Christmas and to stay a couple of weeks. A couple of family related issues helped us to make the decision to do the trip. Panormitis is parked up at the Lagoon Marina in Simpson Bay. We had a few chores to attend to and organised them before we left so hopefully they will be finished when we get back. One big thing happened the day before we left............seam on the RIB (dinghy)has split....a couple of hundred US dollars for a fellow to repair it but with no promise that it will be successful. It appears that dinghies made for the northern hemisphere aren't suitable for the tropics...........so while we are away it has been parked outside the chandlery with a for sale on it....maybe we can retrieve the couple of hundred bucks.
We fly out of Brisbane on 7th Jan. and will only have 3 flights (took 4 to get here) to get back to the Caribbean. Our crew flew home as well so when we return it will be "The Two of Us"......sounds like a good title for a song. Next post will be from Panormitis. Happy New Year to everyone and for our sailing friends, fair winds and safe sailing.
