Went into the marina today to do official clear in and all of the inspections, searches and paperwork that entails. We are back out at anchor and will catch up on some rest. How did we manage to anchor off Cuba's largest clothing optional beach?

We secured the anchor at Cayo Largo, Cuba at 17:50 local time today. We received permission to remain at anchor under the Q flag and attend to the clearing in formalities first thing in the morning. We will remain in this area of Cuba until we have a weather window to cross to Cayman. The sail from San Pedro, Belize to here was a splendid opportunity to put some miles under our belts. The weather was kind to us. This evening the plan is for a leisurely hot meal accompanied by Cuban local radio and cold adult beverages - perfect ending to our Valentine's cruise!
Followed the wind today rather than heading direct to Cuba. There is an outside chance that we might make Cayman so we are going to give it a try.
