We are still at Faro Blanco currently weathered in with sustained 20-30 knot NW winds. There is a small craft advisory for the next week. We are getting bounced around even with an 8 way tie in our slip. The waves out of the marina are reported at 9-13'. We will be here until things calm down.
We should have left three days ago but we were checking everything over before leaving and found a small leak in the muffler. Waiting for the proper hose we missed our favourable weather window. The muffler is replaced and all systems are good now. Just waiting for the right forecast.
The picture was taken with 10 knots of wind. About a minute later the wind was howling at 35 knots. Temperature dropped from 30C to 20C at the same time.
