Parlay and her crew went into boring mode as of last May due to the fact that we had to put her into dry dock and fly back to that third would county called Australia to visit friends and family and to do business. We left Parlay at Pangkor island marina about 200km west of Kuala Lumpa. Shaunnaugh flew [...]

The restaurants here are not as good as in the other bay, maybe it is because there is not as many people, Or maybe I have picked the wrong restaurants but every restaurant we have been to has been poor service & not nice food. This morning we went in for breakfast, a rare event and it was shit, I couldn't eat it over cooked cold egg , jar coffee yuck.

There is a small surf coming on the beach so Ray decided to take the kayak in for a surf, he had a lot of fun, Jan had a go as well she said she enjoyed it. Some random German guy hinted (he didn't speak English) he wanted a ride & his was the best ride of the day. First time and perfect execution, beginners luck. I didn't go in so didn't try it, maybe next time. Although there is surf at the beach the the anchorage is calm.

It was a hot lazy day today, we didn't do much chores in the morning, a game in the afternoon. I hope we can leave for the islands soon as we are running out of money & no ATM only a visa cash withdrawals at a shop, maybe for a fee, I'm not sure. It works out to be expensive without a fee from the shop because of the bank withdrawals fees are huge on visa.

WEATHER/TIDE
15kn north/east tide 3.9 - o.2

ANCHORAGE
calm

FOOD
I haven't found any good restaurants yet.

DOG
There are not many dogs only saw 3 dogs today, 1 on a leash & the other 2 looked like they had owners.

Photo
How a special breakfast should look, cooked by my wonderful husband.

Cheers Shaunnaugh
