Rattling the baby
09 January 2019
Another day another waterfall, after a quick visit to the supermarket we went to a beach π that has (according to google) one of the best snorkelling areas on the island. Well if you like looking at sand great π. It looked barren so I didn't even bother getting changed, Alex and Percy went in and only lasted about 5 to 10 minutes then had seen enough, they didn't even see a fish π. Next we went to another nice waterfall, we started up on the high falls they looked good and the noise just rumbled over us, I put my swimming πββοΈ leg on, as I entered the pool the rock that I stood upon rolled over, which made me sink to my chest, the bad thing for me was the rock grazed my foot and ankle rather badly, it has made me limp for the last few days. After climbing π§ββοΈ up to the bottom of the falls I had a fantastic muscle and shoulder massage from the falling water. We then walked about 300 metres downstream to the next falls, these fell much more gently, here we were able to slide down the 15 metres into yet another pool, the water was cool and refreshing.
Whilst walking between the falls I found a green plastic dragon π that belonged to a baby, at the lower falls I heard a baby crying so took this dragon over, it turns out that it belonged to the baby and it was a teething ring, he stopped crying pretty much as soon as he got it in his mouth π for me it was job done.
New Year's Eve was a big disappointment for me it was 3 bottles of beer and an early bed, the marina is too far away from anywhere to just go out and party π
