Another Fall

Joanne

You cannot believe it, but on Thursday morning Dave was back on the job sanding the boat, standing on a plank across two 44 gal drums and stupidly stepped off it down to a block of wood which then toppled over and he fell on the two concrete blocks which also hold up the keel so now he is in agony with either cracked or broken ribs and a very sore thigh, which happens to be the one he had the hip replacement. This fall finally stopped him working. With leaving for Hong Kong and China this could not have happened at a worse time. It meant that i had to do a lot of the putting away jobs etc. before leaving the boat for 5 mths, some of which were a bit of a struggle but Anne & Leo from Pewter were marvellous and I could not have managed with out them.
