Thanksgiving Reflections

22 November 2018
Being offshore at night under the stars is magical. White water of the following seas chase Pinocchio's stern, as she speeds down the waves with a whooshing sound. I feel so grateful to be experiencing such beauty and peace. In a good way, it makes me feel so small and insignificant...there's a bigger world out there.

I've been reading Ursula K. Le Guin's book "No Time To Spare". It's a compilation of short essays where she reflects on "thinking about what matters". I think the book chose me.

Thankful to be with my sweet hubby on our seaworthy sailboat, in good health, and have enough fresh food on board to last us for a few more days. Grateful for dear family and friends, although far away at the moment, close in our hearts.

Happy Thanksgiving sweet family and dear friends!
