The Aga Khan was right - Sardinia is cool

Saturday 16th October
Gentle yankie sail past some magnificent cliffs. At the risk of sounding dull this is a delightful place. We may even winter here.
Moored alongside a wall in Olbia Harbour next to some old train lines and opposite the town hall. Not a pretty place, but really interesting and everything handy.
Loved my starter so much on our last supper with Phillipa and Richard that I took a pic. Met a English guy called John who was behind us on the quay. He had left England in May like us but 5 years before and had still only got this far...
Sunday 17th October
R&P got a taxi early to the airport and we slept in the sun for the afternoon on deck. Wilson and Friday very enamoured with the cable ducts running along the quay. Plus Wilson has been playing "whats the time Mr Wolf" with the Italian jackdaws. Very comical..... but not for the poor mouse they brought onboard...
Monday 18th October
Beautiful sunny day. Back to shorts....There are four cruise liners quarter of a mile from our quay and lots of fishermen further along the wall but its really peaceful where we are (and FREE!!) and close to town but surrounded by beautiful craggy mountains like "mordor" in "Lord of the Rings".
