On a mission

More successful fishing with bezzies Tricky and Jane HR between Kalamata and Pilos. Several days at Anchor off the Dunes in Pilos bay.
Waved goodbye to Doug and Shanna on Hobnob and hello briefly to Francesca and Giovanni on Pacca and Palau
Once Nic embarked he joined the ever growing Pleiades angling club...en route from Pilos to Katakolon. Detour inland to Olympia (where it all started all those years ago before Stratford) was well worth it. Nice change to see ruins in a very leafy and green situ. Luckily missed the cruise liners....
Short journey to Zakynthos where engine repairs were necessary and yet we managed a very quick (thanks to Senna.. I mean Nic) sightsee of this very verdant and pretty island including shipwreck bay and a 2000 year old olive tree....Richard and Phillipa joined the crew as I left and they are currently en route to Mallorca via Reggio Calabria and Cefalu on Sicily and then Sardinia... 1000 miles.
Hard for me to leave the 28 degs air and 26 degs sea temp. (((
