July and August - where did they go?

So we are definitely a bit behind on our blog. Just in case you are curious, here is a very brief summary of what we have been up to:
2nd week of July - Met up with Gail, Nicola and Linnea in Mallorca. We had beautiful weather and cruising along the north coast from Soller (where they had been waiting for us).
3rd week of July - Sailed to Barcelona with Nicola and Linnea. Stayed in Barcelona for 3 weeks visiting with Marta's family and finally getting the rig fixed.
2nd week of August - Sailed to Menorca then cruised the beautiful calas along the south coast around to Mahon. Sailed to Sardinia.
3rd week of August - Picked up my cousin Ingrid and her family in St Teresa. Spent the week cruising the Madallena Islands with them. Great weather and beautiful anchorages.
Ingrid and Ray, and their kids Zak and Max just left yesterday, so it's very quiet here and the kids are back to school. It's always a bit sad when visitors leave, but we have new visitors in a month's time.
From here we are heading south down the coast of Italy, probably just stopping at the major islands along the way, through the straights of Messina, across the Ionian Sea and through the Corinth Canal to meet Cathie and my mum in 4 weeks time. We'll then spend 3 weeks sailing down the Aegean to Crete with them, before they head home, and we head to Ragusa Sicily for the winter.
Mark.
