Hanamoenoa Bay, Tatuata Island - Manta Rays a Swirling!

Arriving on this beach was surreal - a photo could never match the beauty of this place.
White sandy beaches against a tapestry of swaying coconut trees, azul rolling waters lapping the shoreline.
The bay is a feeding station for the Manta Rays so today was a first for swimming with these graceful curious creatures.
Their large wide open mouths heading straight for the confused and awed snorkeler is a little intimidating but then they perform their back flips inches away, showing off their reflective white bellies while feeding on the endless specks of floating plankton.
The 3 Mantas repeat this dance of swirls which make you dizzy with joy. Must say this experience surely will stay in the memory banks for a very long time.
