Yippie Yi Yo!

When we left Fiji, we knew that we would see a frontal passage before we arrived Vanuatu. This would be associated with heavy rain but not too much wind. As it turns out, we have not seen heavy rain, (there is still time), but today, Friday, we have found the wind. For a number of hours, we have been seeing sustained 30 knots with gusts as high as 37. Along with some pretty big short period seas, it is quite a ride.

The boat is excellent, no worry there. She is happy. As for us cowboys inside, well we are hanging on, and making the most of it. It really is like riding a bucking bronco though. Yippie! Yi Yo Kai Yay!

But good things happen to those who wait. It feels as though it might be calming down. As I look at my instrument, I see the wind is at 20 knots. Ah, nice and easy! It will probably go up and down for a while, but it is a nice trend indicator.

This is "Your Rock and Roll Argonauts" (and Jeff) wishing the best to everyone of you!
