Lautoka

Rod
We left Vuda Point Marina today - again. This time, we are bound for Savu Savu, and plan to jump off from there to Wallis, and then further on. But today, we are only as far as Lautoka. This was just so we can get an early start in the morning for our our first anchorage along the way. We plan three nights - two on Viti Levu and one on Vanua Levu before our planned arrival in Savu Savu on Sunday.

We had the hook down at 3 PM, and it is lovely. We have always liked Lautoka. There is the sound of the freighter being loaded over at the commercial wharf, and at 6 PM, we got to hear the call to prayer from the mosque. Beautiful. We are far from religious, but beauty is beauty, and we both love the call to prayer as music.

All is good, and we are very happy to be out doing what "Your Rock and Roll Argonauts" do best. Travel.
