08 May 2015 | Lautoka Harbor, Fiji
Rod
It is now Friday night, and we are prepared for getting underway in the morning. We are having a look around Lautoka Harbor and realizing that we may never pass this way again. Five years ago, we arrived with Swedish friends Annika and Bjorn from Lindesfarne, and they showed us how to check in etc. We were just babies then. We rafted with them while we checked in. Many times we have been here since, and Lautoka Harbor feels like an old friend. Annika and Bjorn have moved on, as have everyone else we knew back then. Finally, it is now our turn. We will miss it, and all of the people we have met here. We will remember Fiji and especially Lautoka always. It has been nice just hanging out here for the past three nights saying our private good byes. Ah, that's all. Good night my friends. Proximity travels in the morning!
