Hello again. It's nearly a week that we've been out. We've made about 630 miles from Majuro, and we have about 2462 to go to Dutch Harbor. So then, that will make it about one fourth distance covered come tomorrow, just about what we planned. Big trip.
The conditions were about the same as yesterday, hard on the wind, grumpy seas. But we are fine, the boat is fine. I rigged a handy-billy to stop our genoa sheet from chafing on the boom brake line, adjusted our course to keep us from going west. Just the little sort of daily things sailors do when at sea.
Oh, for lunch, Elisabeth made Vegemite, cheese and lettuce sandwiches! Are you listening Mary and Alan? That's the Vegemite you gave us! Thanks heaps!
Our course is just a bit east of straight north. 003 at this moment. Speed is 5 kts. Just like yesterday.
