think of something you would never do in a million years...then do it! what a trip. its crazy how life, better yet god, knows what it is you need to do or experience to sharpen your focus on what really matters. myself being a youngblood, im sure you more seasoned individuals out there figured that out already..these past 22 days have not only been a godsend but yet another chance to wake the fuck up..i wont wont get into the personal dilemmas i have outside of being a mrmber of the puanani crew, those are for another blog or maybe a therapist, but i will call it as i have been seeing it here in tahiti.
i wanna say that where we have been moored in the marina papetee is like kuhio avenue side of waikiki toward the zoo crossed with chinatown, the part they are trying to revive by marks garage, then sprinkle little bit of ala wai looking waterway architechure and boom! if you think i am putting down one of tahitis bigest cities or infering a negative connotation, you are sadly mistaken, i love this place. it runs a a very close second to my home in hawaii..everymorning i run and workout. seems almost like clockwork i see the same canoe paddelers and runners with big smiles and a solid "iorana" or "bonjour"that not only lift your spirits, but gives u that positive boost to quicken your pace and prompts you to spread that manao around. fuckin awesome and that is only the morning. i also been having the priviledge to train at tahitian top team and ah ming boxing club!! aloha levels off the charts here because the "hawaiian" can train for free..i kno it aint cheap to keep the lights on seeing as everything here is so dam expensive, but they dont accept my money!! truly a godsend because jiu jitsu and boxing have not only physicallly strengthened me but the aloha i feel from the coaches and felow training partners has redeemed my trust in people...
