Poulsbo Update
28 September 2009
Starting to turn
Fall's underway...suppsed to get cooler (make that colder-colder) with some rain fronts coming in. Wind's up today causing us to bounce around a bit in the marina but no big deal after reading about one of our sister ships doing 45knot winds down in Mexico...I can hardly wait!
Sandy's been busy doing the outside of the boat...oiling the teak and there's lots of it! Today she's busy inside repainting and re-grouting the aft head. Puts everything there out of commission for a few days. Wednesday she's heading to Seattle to spend some time with our granddaughter Jillian.
Me? Watching TV and playing on the Internet of course. Yesterday we got Dish TV...couldn't stand the thought of going without over the winter. Now have TV and Internet until at least April 30th...after that...who knows?
Today, for me, it's wiring, wiring, and more wiring. Putting in the charge controllers and switch plates for the wind generator and the solar panels. Of course everything is connected...meaning the running lights, watermaker, switches in the forward head along with wall plugs are all located in the forward head.
