Last full week of work...

19 July 2009 | Ray here...
Hot and Sunny Days!
I keep the above picture in mind when the stress gets high!

A few days to go at work then we really get to pile on the hours of prepping the boat. Sandy is working double time too...both of us weekends and after hours! Dealing with this little heat wave we're having up her in the PNW doesn't make it easier either, although it does prepare us for Mexico and points south.

Waiting now for the weekend to be over so we can get the exhaust parts welded...I think I have everything we need to do the job. This whole thing with the exhaust and engine is very tiring and trying. The only time we have to have a schedule in the next 5 years or so is right now to get out of here before late September. We're told that the weather sets in and we hae to deal with fall off-the-coast winds, fog, and high seas. We prefer not.

Last week of work and we both have mixed feelings...wanting it to be over with on the one hand...and nervous about the drop in pay on the other. It's going to be weird not having to get up and go to work any more. Meantime...we're doubling up to catch up.
